In the letter, he acknowledged their shared history and the new chapter he was about to begin. Saif involved his daughter Sara Ali Khan in the process, seeking her approval before sending it to Amrita.
Sara Ali Khan, Saif’s daughter, expressed her happiness upon learning about the letter, stating that it filled her with joy. She also mentioned that her mother, Amrita Singh, had helped her get ready for her father’s wedding to Kareena Kapoor. Saif and Amrita were married in 1991 and divorced in 2004 after 13 years of marriage, having two children together, Sara and Ibrahim.
