Salman Khan Films has unveiled the complete version of the song “Chand Dekh Lena” prior to Eid, following a teaser release. The song, featuring Salman Khan and Chitrangada Singh from “Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace,” beautifully intertwines the emotional essence of the moon, significant in both Eid and Karwa Chauth traditions. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya, “Chand Dekh Lena” is described as a timeless Bollywood portrayal of love and yearning.
The song poignantly portrays the emotional dynamics of relationships influenced by a soldier’s commitment. Through visuals, the song depicts Chitrangada Singh’s character patiently awaiting her husband, portrayed by Salman Khan, upon his return from border duty. Salman Khan has also introduced new voices in the song, with talents like Nihal Tauro and Ankona Mukherjee lending their vocals.
Originally named “Battle of Galwan,” the film has been rechristened as “Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace.” Produced by Salma Khan under Salman Khan Films, the movie, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, promises a sincere depiction of courage, sacrifice, and resilience, with Chitrangada Singh in a significant role.
