Actress Sameera Reddy is set to portray the character of Professor Pallavi Menon in the highly anticipated film “Aakhri Sawal” starring Sanjay Dutt. Reddy expressed her desire to make a bold comeback to the silver screen with a project that sparks discussions, and “Aakhri Sawal” aligns with that vision.
In the movie, Reddy’s character delves into the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), challenging her preconceived notions and prompting her to question her beliefs. She emphasized that the film is not meant to provide reassurance but rather to provoke thought and challenge accepted norms.
“Aakhri Sawal” explores the story of Vicky, a brilliant yet temperamental scholar, who accuses his mentor of bias, leading to a public debate. Directed by Abhijeet Mohan Warang, the film sheds light on the complexities within the RSS, the world’s largest voluntary organization.
Scheduled for release on May 8, the movie is co-produced by Nikhil Nanda, Sanjay Dutt, Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. The narrative, screenplay, and dialogues are crafted by Utkarsh Naithani, promising a thought-provoking cinematic experience.
