Hollywood actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, famous for her roles in iconic ’90s shows and movies, recently shared her thoughts on the resurgence of ’90s fashion trends. While attending the premiere of Ready or Not 2: Here I Come at SXSW in Austin, Texas, Gellar expressed her mixed feelings about the return of ’90s fashion, mentioning the revival of slip dresses from that era.
Gellar, known for her fashion sense, humorously mentioned that she’s glad she kept her Calvin Klein slip dresses from the ’90s. However, she also pointed out two trends from that era that she hopes never make a comeback – thin eyebrows and chokers, which she believes are unflattering.
In addition to discussing fashion, Gellar opened up about her personal life, including her marriage to actor Freddie Prinze Jr. and their two children. She also touched upon the scrapped Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot project that she was working on with director Chloé Zhao, expressing her disappointment at the show not moving forward despite shooting a pilot episode.
Despite the setback with the reboot, Gellar remains positive and focused on her future endeavors, drawing inspiration from her iconic character Buffy Summers. She currently stars in Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, a sequel to the 2019 horror film, alongside a talented cast.
