A disturbing case of road rage has surfaced in the Wagholi area of Pune district, Maharashtra, where a couple with their three-year-old child was allegedly attacked by occupants of a car. The incident led to a police case against four individuals, including two women.
The complaint, filed at the Wagholi Police Station, details how Shantanu Niranjan Shukla, an engineer, along with his wife Vartika and son Shivan, were returning home on their motorcycle after shopping. A collision with a car near Decathlon escalated into a verbal altercation that turned physical, resulting in injuries to the child.
Allegedly, the car occupants engaged in abusive behavior, blocked the motorcycle’s path deliberately, and physically assaulted the family. The situation escalated to the point where legal action was taken, with a case registered against the driver, another male occupant, and two women, under specific sections of the law.
