Actor Shekhar Suman, known for his bold satire on his chat show, has now targeted fugitives who have fled India, labeling them as smooth talkers with great charm. Suman, who is gaining positive feedback for his new streaming series ‘The Pyramid Scheme’, shared insights during a promotional event with co-stars Ranvir Shorey, Shreyansh Pandey, and Paramvir Cheema. He emphasized the importance of charm in a conman and described these individuals as highly intelligent but misguided. Suman highlighted the relentless nature of such fugitives who continue to lead lavish lives abroad despite committing financial frauds in India.
The actor expressed, “The first prerequisite of a con man is the charm. Everybody gets swayed by the charm. They are the glib talkers. Very, very glib, very sharp. These people are very intelligent, except their energy is somewhere else. These kinds of people are very cunning, quick thinking and stuff like that. So, you catch them at one place, put them in jail, get them out and then do something different again.” He further pointed out the audacity of these individuals who have managed to escape legal consequences and are now enjoying luxurious lifestyles outside India.
Moreover, ‘The Pyramid Scheme’ delves into the world of pyramid schemes and features a talented cast including Paramvir Singh Cheema, Aanjjan Srivastav, Alfia Jafry, and others. Produced by The Viral Fever and created by Shreyansh Pandey, the series is directed by Ashish R Shukla and Shreyansh Pandey. Viewers can watch the series on Prime Video to explore the captivating narrative.
