Popular television actress Shilpa Shinde, reprising her role as Angoori Bhabhi in “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0,” recently expressed that she always embodied the character. Actress Rashami Desai commented on Shilpa’s statement, praising both Shilpa and Shubhangi Atre for their dedication to the role of Angoori Bhabhi. Rashami emphasized that comparing the two actresses would be disrespectful to Shilpa as a senior artist.
In an earlier interview, Shilpa Shinde mentioned that she does not see any need for comparison between herself and the former Angoori Bhabhi, Shubhangi. Shilpa confidently stated that she has established her unique identity and worked hard to earn her place. She highlighted that returning to the show felt seamless, with the only challenge being for the audience to see her as the character, not as Shilpa Shinde.
Shilpa further explained that stepping back into the character after a decade did not pose a significant challenge as it felt like continuing from where she left off. She emphasized that the real challenge lies in viewers accepting her portrayal of the character, rather than associating her with her real name.
