Actress Sonakshi Sinha playfully acknowledged Gen Z for enhancing her skills in padel, a growing racquet sport blending tennis and squash. In a video shared on Instagram, she humorously thanked the younger generation for her progress, saying, “Giving GenZ credit for my improved game too. Just take it yaar. #channeling.” Celebrities like Neha Dhupia and Varun Dhawan reacted to her post, praising her performance.
Sonakshi had previously lauded Gen Z for their activism, particularly highlighting their role in a student movement that led to the resignation of Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan. Expressing admiration for their impact, she shared a reel on Instagram, emphasizing, “You have no idea what you have done today. I am an artist bro, but Gen Z is the art. I know I have taken you to so many places. But what is this? We get married, get tired, nothing happens. For that. Never again. Salute. Salute. Look at me now. I want to be you. I want to be Gen Z. What the hell is that? Salute.”
Following Pradhan’s resignation, Sonakshi continued to update her Instagram with posts related to the event. She shared news of the resignation, posted images of protesting students with supportive captions, and praised speeches by individuals like CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke. Additionally, she expressed gratitude towards Sonam Wangchuk for his contributions.
