In a successful operation named Kavach 13.0, the Special Staff of South District apprehended a key member of a drug trafficking syndicate and confiscated 1.031 kg of high-quality cocaine valued at around Rs 10 crore in the global market.
The arrested individual, John Chibuike (35), a Nigerian national, was actively involved in distributing cocaine across South and South-East Delhi, expanding his network significantly in recent months.
Following specific intelligence inputs about a Nigerian national engaged in cocaine trafficking, a dedicated team of Special Staff, South District, led by Inspector Anuj Kumar, conducted a raid at Chibuike’s residence in Islam Colony, Mehrauli, where they seized the cocaine and apprehended the suspect.
A team effort involving various police personnel ensured the success of the operation, with further investigations ongoing to dismantle the drug syndicate and identify associated networks.
