Leaders of the Academic Staff Associations of Balochistan University raised concerns following the abduction of top officials from Gwadar University. The Vice Chancellor, pro-Vice Chancellor, a lecturer, and staff members were kidnapped while traveling to Quetta. The Academic Staff Associations urged the government to expedite the recovery of the abducted officials, highlighting the prevailing security challenges faced by faculty and students in Balochistan.
