The Supreme Court declined to take action against a litigant who disrupted proceedings by hurling abuses and papers during a hearing challenging an Allahabad High Court order. Justices K.V. Viswanathan and Alok Aradhe dismissed the Special Leave Petition, noting the litigant’s unparliamentary behavior.
Despite the litigant’s disruptive conduct, the Court decided not to penalize him after reviewing the case records. The apex court found no valid reason to overturn the High Court’s judgment and dismissed the petition along with all related applications.
During the hearing, the litigant demanded an FIR against an ACP and a private company, leading to a chaotic scene in the courtroom. He made offensive remarks, threw papers, and disrupted proceedings before being escorted out by security personnel, allowing the hearing to continue.
The litigant’s petition had originated from a High Court order dismissing his criminal writ petition against a Special Chief Judicial Magistrate’s decision in Lucknow. The High Court had advised the petitioner to seek redressal through the appropriate legal channels.
