Tamil actor and comedian Yogi Babu recently reached out to the social media platform X expressing disappointment regarding the prolonged delay in verifying his account with a blue tick. Despite debiting Rs 30,000 for verification over three months ago, the process has not been completed, prompting Babu to urge the concerned team to address the issue promptly.
After sharing transaction screenshots on X, followers alerted Babu to potential scams, noting discrepancies in the payment details provided. They highlighted that X typically does not charge through unknown UPI IDs and that the standard fee for blue tick activation is significantly lower than the amount deducted from Babu’s account.
In response to the concerns raised by his followers, Yogi Babu’s upcoming projects include starring in director Harish Durairaj’s comedy family entertainer ‘Con City’, where he portrays a character named Jacky alongside Arjun Das and actress Anna Ben in lead roles. Additionally, Babu is set to lead the Malayalam remake of the acclaimed Tamil film ‘Aadhaar’, directed by Ramnath Palanikumar, which has garnered international recognition.
The forthcoming Malayalam adaptation, titled ‘Aadhaar’, will feature Yogi Babu in the lead role, supported by a cast of prominent actors and a team of skilled technicians, ensuring a promising venture in the industry.
