Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin intensified the DMK’s campaign in Karur district by addressing a public meeting at Rayanur in support of party candidates contesting from various Assembly constituencies. Highlighting development as the core of his government’s governance approach, Stalin mentioned the successful implementation of projects exceeding Rs 5,000 crore in the district during the DMK’s tenure.
Stalin emphasized the government’s commitment to fulfilling electoral promises and surpassing expectations, citing the implementation of schemes that set a high standard even for other states. He criticized the AIADMK and BJP for allegedly spreading misinformation to disrupt peace in Tamil Nadu, noting that such tactics had been rejected by the people.
Drawing a comparison with the previous AIADMK administration, Stalin accused them of causing hardship instead of progress. He also commented on the BJP’s performance in the state, pointing out their lack of success in the parliamentary elections and their subsequent attempts to retaliate politically against Tamil Nadu.
