Artificial intelligence (AI) is seen as a tool that will reshape work by automating tasks, according to tech business leaders at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos. Kian Katanforoosh, CEO of Workera, emphasized that AI excels at tasks but cannot entirely replace human jobs. Munjal Shah, CEO of Hippocratic AI, predicted a future where AI will augment rather than replace human employees on a large scale.

Kate Kallot, CEO of Amini, highlighted that AI is a tool and cannot make value-based decisions due to lacking the necessary inputs. Christoph Schweizer, CEO of BCG, compared working with AI to collaborating with a co-worker, emphasizing the need for companies to change how their people work to succeed. Enrique Lores, CEO of HP, stressed the importance of balancing AI usage and not being overly demanding on AI coworkers compared to human employees.
