Teenage star Abhinandh PB and 2025 MVP Bernadette Szocs shone in Dempo Goa Challengers’ 10-5 win over U Mumba TT in Season 7 of Ultimate Table Tennis. The match, held at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Panaji, saw a strong performance from the champions.
The event was inaugurated by Goa’s Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant, in the presence of ITTF President Petra Sörling and other table tennis dignitaries. Szocs and Abhinandh secured victories in singles matches and the mixed doubles, sealing the win early.
Abhinandh impressed with a dominant display against Lilian Bardet, while Szocs continued the momentum with a straight-games win. The duo later combined to secure the mixed doubles match, ensuring a comfortable victory for Dempo Goa Challengers.
