Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, criticized the NDA government led by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary for administrative paralysis and lack of direction. Yadav expressed concerns over governance and decision-making, stating that only three individuals are effectively running the government due to the delay in cabinet expansion. He highlighted the state’s challenges, including unemployment, migration, corruption, poor law and order, and economic stress.
Yadav pointed out that within six months of the Bihar Assembly elections, the state has seen two Chief Ministers, leading to what he termed as a significant portion of the government’s first year being “wasted.” He accused the ruling alliance of making decisions without proper consultation or deliberation, emphasizing that an incomplete cabinet results in arbitrary and undemocratic decision-making processes. Yadav also criticized the NDA leadership for what he described as power-driven politics and repeated government formations causing instability over the years.
The opposition leader questioned the government’s ability to address the people’s concerns, particularly among youth, women, farmers, and traders. He raised doubts about the government’s effectiveness in providing solutions when it is perceived as part of the problem. The ongoing political tensions in Bihar surrounding cabinet expansion and governance priorities have led to intensified criticism from the opposition towards the ruling alliance.
