Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced measures for pollution-free development in Hyderabad. A 2,100-square-km area within the Outer Ring Road will be designated for the service sector, with industries outside this zone. The state has been categorized into CURE, PURE, and RARE zones for sustainable growth.
Revanth Reddy expressed concern over rising pollution levels in Indian cities like Delhi, making them uninhabitable. He highlighted traffic issues in Bengaluru and Chennai. The Chief Minister aims to elevate Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047, emphasizing the need for increased investments and infrastructure development.
Stressing on development over politics, Revanth Reddy urged a focus on Telangana’s progress beyond elections. Despite political challenges, the government aims to boost Telangana’s contribution to the national economy. Efforts have been made to enhance the workforce through Skills University and Advanced Training Centres.
In a move to support families affected by land acquisition, the Chief Minister directed the construction of housing and commercial complexes in Sitarampur village. He acknowledged the farmers of Rangareddy district for their support in establishing a solar manufacturing unit.
