Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy pledged to elevate Bharat Future City to the standards of Singapore, Tokyo, and New York. He assured that the government would ensure fair compensation for farmers affected by land acquisition for the new city. Speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Future City Police Commissionerate, the Chief Minister responded to requests from villagers to include their areas within the city limits.
The Chief Minister announced plans to inaugurate the Future City Development Corporation’s office by June 2 and emphasized support for affected farmers. He promised assistance to address any grievances and urged officials to consider the needs of the underprivileged. Reddy encouraged everyone to back the transformation of Future City, drawing parallels to the successful construction of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) despite initial doubts and opposition.
Highlighting the Future City’s potential for global investments, the Chief Minister revealed that Telangana had secured three out of seven sanctioned bullet train projects nationwide. He outlined proposals for bullet train routes linking various cities, aiming to boost growth in the Rangareddy district. Additionally, he called on Maoists to surrender and offered government support for their rehabilitation and healthcare needs.
