Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy pledged to provide rehabilitation for all families impacted by the Musi Riverfront development project. He emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring that those displaced by the project receive proper support and assistance. The Chief Minister also announced the formation of a Cabinet Sub-Committee for the Musi Rejuvenation Project, led by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka.
Revanth Reddy criticized the previous government for neglecting the Musi project and highlighted the government’s efforts to address various urban development challenges. He mentioned initiatives such as securing permission for an underpass road at Begumpet Airport and implementing measures to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety. The Chief Minister also outlined plans for the development of industrial corridors and sustainable regions to drive economic growth in Telangana.
In his address, the Chief Minister underscored the importance of addressing environmental and infrastructure challenges in Hyderabad. He emphasized the need for enhanced parking facilities, metro rail expansion, and the relocation of polluting industries to improve the city’s livability. Revanth Reddy detailed plans for constructing an elevated corridor along the Musi River, aimed at improving connectivity and reducing travel time in the region.
