Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced readiness for a special session in the Assembly and Legislative Council to assess the performance of the ruling parties over the past years. He challenged the BJP and BRS to debate their manifestos and urged opposition parties to request a special session for discussion. Reddy criticized the opposition for hindering the Musi Rejuvenation Project and vowed to complete it despite obstacles.
The Chief Minister condemned the BRS leaders for spreading false information about the government and highlighted the lack of women representation in their previous rule. He questioned the opposition’s failure to provide housing for the poor and accused the previous government of neglecting essential services like issuing ration cards. Reddy emphasized the distribution of fine rice to the underprivileged under the current administration, contrasting it with the coarse rice supplied earlier.
Revanth Reddy pointed out the disparity in living conditions between the poor and the political elite, emphasizing the importance of inclusive governance. He stated that the Telangana society has rejected the BRS leadership, citing various shortcomings in their governance. The Chief Minister underscored the government’s commitment to welfare measures and equitable distribution of resources to uplift the marginalized sections of society.
