Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy urged former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan to form a high-level committee focusing on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into primary, secondary, technical, and medical education curricula. The Chief Minister, along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other officials, discussed future planning during a meeting at his residence.
Plans are underway to establish a Skills University and Advanced Training Centers (ATCs) to generate mid-level employment opportunities, with a particular emphasis on AI utilization. Rajan emphasized the importance of leveraging AI effectively, suggesting that adopting an industrial policy akin to Tamil Nadu’s could attract more investments to the region.
Rajan highlighted the significant electricity and water demands associated with data centers, indicating a future visit to Hyderabad. He underscored the potential for job creation across various sectors through skill enhancement and proposed strategies to address nutritional deficiencies for human resource development. Additionally, he emphasized the role of government policies in fostering new industries and investments.
Deputy Chief Minister Vikramarka affirmed the state’s readiness to support industries, citing available land, infrastructure, and adequate electricity supply aligned with future requirements. He outlined existing facilities like an international airport and the Outer Ring Road, emphasizing regional development strategies under the CURE, PURE, RARE policy framework.
