Telangana Government Announces Gaddar State Film Awards 2025 Winners

The Telangana government revealed the winners of the Gaddar State Film Awards 2025, with Naga Chaitanya named Best Actor for his role in ‘Thandel’ and Rashmika Mandanna as Best Actress for ‘The Girlfriend’. ‘Thandel’ also secured the Best Film on National Integrity award, while ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’ by Anil Ravipudi won Best Entertainment Film.

Dil Raju, Chairman of Telangana Film Development Corporation, disclosed the award recipients at a press conference. ‘Raju Weds Rambhai’ clinched the Best Film title, with ‘Dhandoraa’ and ‘The Pre Wedding Show’ honored as the second and third best films respectively. The Best Debut Feature Film award was presented to ‘Little Hearts’.

In addition, ‘Mirai’, starring Teja Sajja, received accolades for Best Special Effects, Best Editor (Sreekar Prasad), and Best Cinematography (Karthik Ghattamneni). Notably, ‘Court’ was recognized as the Best Social Message Film. Actor Shivaji and actress Bhumika were named Best Supporting Actor and Actress respectively.

Chaitu Jonnalagadda and Ananthika were awarded Best Actor (Jury) and Best Actress (Jury) for their performances in ‘Raju Weds Rambai’ and ‘8 Vasanthalu’. Roshan Meka earned the Special Jury Hero award for ‘Champion’, which also received multiple technical awards. Special awards were granted to industry stalwarts like Chiranjeevi, Ashwini Dutt, Kamal Haasan, and Jayasudha.
