Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla have called on the public to stay away from drugs and contribute to the development of a healthy society. On the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, they emphasized the importance of rejecting drugs to safeguard individuals and families.
Revanth Reddy highlighted the need for a drug-free society, emphasizing the detrimental effects of drugs on personal lives, families, and societal well-being. He stressed the significance of awareness, vigilance, and social responsibility in combating drug abuse and illicit trafficking. The Chief Minister urged everyone to actively participate in achieving a “Drug-Free Telangana.”
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla echoed the call to combat drug abuse and promote a healthy lifestyle for a drug-free society. Director General of Police C.V. Anand also emphasized the collective responsibility of society in eradicating drugs. He urged increased awareness, prevention efforts, and the adoption of a healthy, drug-free lifestyle to build a safer and stronger Telangana.
