The Telangana Police Department has urged top underground CPI (Maoist) leaders and members to leave violence behind and reintegrate into society. Director General of Police B. Shivadhar Reddy echoed Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s call for Maoists to lead peaceful lives with their families. Over 588 Maoist leaders and members have already embraced normal life in the past two years through government rehabilitation efforts.
The police chief emphasized that these individuals are now living safely and happily with their families in their native villages, benefiting from the state’s Surrender & Rehabilitation Policy. The success of this initiative has encouraged Maoists from neighboring states to surrender and join society peacefully. The Telangana Police is committed to supporting their reintegration for a secure and dignified life.
The government promises immediate assistance and benefits to those who choose to return to the mainstream. The aim is to provide comprehensive support for their peaceful reintegration, ensuring freedom, respect, and dignity. The Telangana Police stresses the need for peaceful solutions to address challenges and calls on Maoist leaders to contribute positively to the state’s development.
