Sources within director Bharat Krishnamachari’s team working on the highly anticipated historical action film ‘Swayambhu’, starring Nikhil Siddhartha, have confirmed that the Telugu dubbing process is advancing rapidly. The dubbing for the Telugu version is on track, with plans to finish before the end of the month. Additionally, dubbing for four other languages is set to commence later this month, as the film is scheduled for a release in five languages. Simultaneously, VFX work is also in progress.
The movie, set to release worldwide on April 10, features Nikhil Siddhartha alongside actresses Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh in prominent roles. Initially planned for a February 13 release coinciding with Maha Shivaratri, the film’s release date was postponed to April 10 due to necessary additional time for VFX work. ‘Swayambhu’, produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios and presented by Tagore Madhu, has garnered significant attention from both fans and movie enthusiasts.
Nikhil Siddhartha’s dedication to his role in ‘Swayambhu’ is evident as he underwent martial arts training in Vietnam, mastering sword fighting to a high level of proficiency. Not only did Nikhil receive training, but the supporting cast also underwent rigorous sword fighting training from experts. A team of Vietnamese sword fighting specialists was brought in to train the stunt performers involved in the film’s extensive climax sequence, which was filmed over 60 days at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
‘Swayambhu’, a project deeply rooted in India’s cultural legacy, promises to unveil lesser-known historical narratives beyond conventional tales of royalty and battles. Positioned as a tribute to India’s rich history and timeless valor, the film narrates the tale of a formidable warrior whose courage left an indelible mark on an era.
