Tension is mounting in Bihar’s Siwan district due to a land dispute in Jhunapur village under the Mahadeva police station. An FIR has been lodged against RJD MLA Osama Shahab, along with Sabir Miyan and Farhan Miyan, over allegations of intimidation, vandalism, and assault. The complaint was filed by Sudha Singh, who claims ownership of a specific plot of land in the Mahadeva area.
The dispute reportedly began during construction on the site, with Singh alleging that Shahab contacted her, claiming ownership of the same land. Despite sharing her documents, communication ceased, leading to further escalation when construction resumed. Singh stated that she was instructed to halt the work, following which a group of individuals arrived, causing destruction and vandalism at the site.
Singh, who legally purchased the land in 2024, accused the named individuals of disrupting her lawful possession and construction activities. The Mahadeva Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter. Station In-charge Vineet Vinayak confirmed the registration of an FIR regarding vandalism and assured that the case is being closely monitored.
