A third arrest has been carried out in the Greater Noida dowry death case. The arrested person is Vinod, the cousin of Hrithik, the deceased woman’s husband. So far, three individuals, including Hrithik, his father Manoj, and Vinod, have been arrested in connection with the case.
The incident took place in Greater Noida’s Ecotech-3 area in Uttar Pradesh, where the 24-year-old woman, Deepika Nagar, died under mysterious circumstances. Allegations from the deceased’s family suggest that her in-laws were involved in dowry harassment. Continuous police raids are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects.
Deepika’s family claims that her marriage to Hrithik, which occurred about a year ago, turned tragic due to alleged dowry-related issues. The family accuses the in-laws of subjecting Deepika to mental and physical torture, demanding additional dowry. Post-mortem findings revealed severe injuries on Deepika’s body, indicating she was under deep trauma before her death.
