Three children from a family tragically lost their lives in a road accident when a speeding truck collided with their e-rickshaw near the Matguwa petrol pump on Bijawar Road in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district. The incident occurred as the family was returning home from the Satai area in the e-rickshaw, leaving five others seriously injured and the family devastated.

The deceased children, identified as Suman Adivasi (16), Somvati Adivasi (8), and Bhura Adivasi (5), were all members of the same family from Hatnai village under the Ishanagar police station area, according to police officials. The impact of the collision was so severe that the e-rickshaw was completely mangled, causing chaos and panic at the accident site.

Among the injured were Karanju Adivasi (41), Kanhaiya Adivasi (14), Genda Adivasi (38), and Kishan Adivasi, who is a taxi driver and the brother-in-law of the deceased children. They are currently receiving treatment at a hospital, with police officials launching a search operation for the absconding truck driver who fled the scene after the collision.

Authorities have initiated strict action against the driver, with the local administration and community members extending support to the grieving family during this challenging time. An investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal collision, as chaos briefly enveloped the area following the tragic incident.
