Three individuals, including a married couple, lost their lives in a devastating road accident in a village under the Ater police station in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhind district. The collision between two speeding motorcycles resulted in immediate fatalities, with one person sustaining critical injuries. The incident occurred in Balarpura around 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as 35-year-old Soniram Prajapati and his 32-year-old wife, Kiran Prajapati, residents of Mondna village. The couple had journeyed to Bhind earlier in the day for a court appearance, leaving their three children orphaned.
The tragic accident occurred as the Prajapati family was returning home after their legal obligations. Another motorcycle involved in the collision was carrying 21-year-old Anoop Jatav from Morena district and his companion, Pravesh. Anoop lost his life in the accident, while Pravesh sustained severe injuries.
The bodies of the victims remained on the road for nearly half an hour after the crash, causing distress among local residents who witnessed the aftermath. Emergency services were eventually notified, and the victims were transported to the District Hospital, where they were pronounced dead by doctors. The police have initiated post-mortem examinations as part of their investigation into the tragic incident.
