Three young men lost their lives, and three others sustained serious injuries in a tragic accident on the Deoghar-Sultanganj main road in Bihar’s Banka district. The collision between a car and a motorcycle occurred early Saturday morning near Bijjikheirwa village. Eyewitnesses reported that both vehicles were speeding dangerously, resulting in a devastating impact that shattered the motorcycle and claimed the lives of the young men on the spot.

The deceased individuals, identified as Surendra Sah, Rupesh Sah, and Baleshwar Sah, were all part of the same extended family from Babarjhop village. The sudden deaths of these young men have plunged their families into deep mourning, leaving three households devastated in an instant. A family from Nagma village in Garhwa, en route to Baba Dham in Deoghar for a pilgrimage, was also affected by the accident.

Following the collision, local residents rushed to assist the injured individuals and transported them to a nearby hospital. Due to the severity of their injuries, the victims were later referred to Bhagalpur for advanced medical treatment. The aftermath of the accident was marked by chaos and heart-wrenching scenes, with debris strewn across the road and cries of anguish filling the air.

The tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of reckless driving and speeding on public roads. As news of the accident reached Babarjhop village, an atmosphere of profound grief enveloped the community. The bereaved families mourned the loss of their loved ones, with the prospect of three funeral pyres burning simultaneously casting a somber shadow over the village.
