Three young men tragically lost their lives in a devastating car-motorcycle collision near Khairdih village in Daundi-Dondi Lohara, Balod district. The collision was so severe that two individuals died instantly, while the third passed away during treatment. The incident occurred at around 10 p.m. when a speeding car collided head-on with a motorcycle carrying the three friends.

The impact of the collision near Khairdih village was so intense that it completely destroyed both vehicles, resulting in fatal injuries to the motorcycle riders. The accident scene was chaotic, with debris strewn across the road. The deceased have been identified as Tarun Yadav, aged 20, Rahul Sevta, aged 20, and Narendra Bhuwarya, aged 21.

Tarun and Narendra lost their lives at the scene, while Rahul was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries later. The force of the collision was so powerful that Rahul’s leg was severed and discovered several meters away from the crash site the next morning. Local police promptly responded, recovered the bodies, and arranged for post-mortem examinations.

The damaged vehicles were cleared from the road to allow traffic to resume smoothly. Initial investigations point to overspeeding and reckless driving as the main factors contributing to the accident. Authorities are also looking into whether the car driver was intoxicated at the time of the crash. The tragic incident has deeply affected the victims’ villages, with families in mourning and residents expressing serious concerns about road safety.

Police have assured the community that a thorough investigation is ongoing, and once completed, accountability will be established.
