In a tragic incident in Alwar city, Rajasthan, two young sisters, Tina (8) and Lakshmi (5), lost their lives after becoming stuck inside a damaged car while playing near their home in the Khudanpuri area. The girls suffocated as the car door failed to open from the inside. The children had been playing near a car repair center when they entered an abandoned red car and got trapped inside.
CCTV footage captured the sisters approaching the damaged vehicle, entering it from the driver’s side, and closing the door behind them. Despite efforts, they were unable to open the door and remained trapped inside. The girls’ father, Ramesh, a local salon owner, discovered his daughters missing upon returning home for lunch and later found them unconscious in the car. Despite being rushed to the district hospital, the doctors pronounced them dead.
The family, already mourning the loss of the girls’ mother to a heart attack four years ago, is devastated by this new tragedy. The police are investigating the incident, with the Station House Officer Gurudutt Saini mentioning that the car involved was severely damaged, with its engine and battery removed. It is suspected that the children were unable to open the door after entering the car, leading to their suffocation.
