Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha emphasized the state’s peaceful and promising nature, with the BJP government’s focus on comprehensive development across all regions. He inaugurated four key projects in Atharobhola, including a modern AstroTurf football stadium costing Rs 5.36 crore, highlighting the significance of sports infrastructure for youth development. Education was underscored as a crucial element for progress, with a special emphasis on women’s participation in education to drive overall development.
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of tribal community development, particularly in enhancing educational facilities through the construction of hostels in various schools. Noting the past challenges faced by the janajati people, he highlighted the government’s efforts to steer the state towards development and away from conflict. Additionally, healthcare initiatives were spotlighted, with the inauguration of a modern 10-bed Primary Health Centre in Nityabazar aimed at providing quality healthcare closer to villages.
Manik Saha reiterated the government’s commitment to tangible actions over mere promises, showcasing the state’s progress in sports, education, and healthcare sectors. He also mentioned infrastructure advancements, including the construction of new national highways and railway projects, along with the approval of various schemes by the state Cabinet. The event was attended by key officials, including State Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma and Sports Minister Tinku Roy, among others.
