Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has called on people not to be swayed by misleading messages from other parties and has encouraged supporters of rival groups to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) before the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections on April 12. Saha emphasized the formation of a “triple-engine government” in the TTAADC and highlighted the increasing trust and confidence in Prime Minister Modi among the populace.
Addressing an election rally in Dhalai district, Saha stressed the need for unity to build a new Tripura. He welcomed 710 voters from 251 families who joined the BJP at the rally and urged members of the Tipra Motha Party (TMP) and other parties, especially the youth, to consider aligning with the BJP for the state’s progress. Saha underscored the BJP’s commitment to development and peace, contrasting it with the alleged unrest and corruption associated with other parties.
Saha outlined the vision of creating a “New Tripura” aligned with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a “New India.” He criticized opposition parties, particularly the Communist Party of India (Marxist), for past corruption and neglect, emphasizing the BJP’s focus on inclusive development. The Chief Minister expressed confidence in the BJP’s prospects in the upcoming ADC elections, aiming for a decisive mandate to form a strong government.
