US President Donald Trump has declared July 19-25 as “Made in America Week” to support American manufacturing, promote domestic products, and uphold trade policies aimed at bringing back factories and jobs. Trump emphasized the significance of American manufacturing in the country’s economic strength and highlighted efforts to reverse industrial decline caused by past trade policies. He praised American craftsmanship and the hard work of workers in factories, steel mills, and family-owned businesses, underscoring their role in making the US a productive and prosperous nation.

The President criticized previous trade policies for weakening the country’s manufacturing base by moving production overseas, which he believes undermined workers and national security. Trump stated that his administration’s trade policies have led to a resurgence in domestic manufacturing, with companies returning home, investing trillions of dollars, and creating over 900,000 American jobs. He outlined various initiatives, including requiring truthful advertising of American-made products and promoting the purchase of such goods by federal agencies.

Additionally, Trump highlighted the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, which extends the Small Business Tax Deduction and is expected to boost economic growth and create Main Street jobs. The administration is also offering incentives for new factories, equipment, and research and development, while eliminating regulations that hinder manufacturers. Trump pointed out the recent job growth in American manufacturing as a sign of a new era of industrial strength. He encouraged Americans to recognize the efforts of workers in various industries and communities and proclaimed July 19-25, 2026, as Made in America Week.

The “Made in America” campaign has been a key focus of Trump’s economic agenda, aiming to revive manufacturing, reduce reliance on imports, and support domestic production through tariffs, tax incentives, and procurement policies.
