Tvesa Malik, after a flawless performance, faced challenges in the second round of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour at the Oxford Golf Resort, scoring 2-over 74. This setback caused her to drop from the top position to second place, with Anvitha Narender taking the lead with a score of 72.

Anvitha Narender, who had a solid 71 in the first round, maintained her performance with an even par 72 in the second round, securing the top spot with one more round to go. Riya Jadon climbed to third place with a consistent 72, featuring three birdies and three bogeys in her round.

During the second round, Anvitha faced a challenging start with a bogey but managed to recover with birdies on the ninth and 11th holes. Despite a drop on the 12th hole, she finished the round at even par with a birdie on the 16th and a bogey on the 17th. Tvesa Malik, on the other hand, had a mixed round with three birdies, three bogeys, and a double bogey, resulting in a score of 74.

The competition saw three players, Ketaki Sood (71), Shagun Narain (74), and amateur Priya Kumari (75), tied for the fifth position at 3-over 147. Mannat Brar and Ridhima Dilawari were tied for eighth place, with Mannat being one of the few players to shoot under par on the second day.

Noteworthy players like last year’s Hero Order of Merit winner Vani Kapoor, Khushi Khanijau, and amateurs Aradhana Manikandan and Ananya Garg, were tied for the tenth spot with scores ranging from 73 to 76. Durga Nittur made a mark by achieving the first hole-in-one of the season on the Par-3 14th hole from 140 yards.

The cut-off for the final round was set at 154, with 24 professionals and 4 amateurs advancing to the next stage.
