Two individuals tragically lost their lives in separate incidents in Telangana. In Nirmal town, a refrigerator explosion led to a fire that claimed the lives of a man and a woman. The victims suffered severe burns and passed away while receiving treatment at the district headquarters hospital.
The man, identified as Odisela Vijay, was a 50-year-old daily wage earner. The woman’s identity is yet to be confirmed. Neighbors reported hearing a loud explosion, prompting firefighters to extinguish the flames at the scene.
In another unfortunate event in Adilabad district, a man named Vittal was killed in a road accident when a speeding lorry collided with his motorcycle. The lorry driver fled the scene after the collision on National Highway 44. Meanwhile, passengers of an APSRTC bus in Andhra Pradesh narrowly escaped a fire caused by contact with high-tension wires in Vempalli mandal.
Firefighters quickly responded to the bus fire, ensuring the safe evacuation of all 18 passengers onboard. The incident occurred during the bus’s journey from Vempalli to Kadiri, belonging to the Kadiri depot.
