The White House refuted online rumors claiming President Donald Trump was hospitalized, clarifying that the speculations were false. The rumors emerged after a press “lid” was announced, indicating no further public appearances for the day. Despite social media buzz suggesting Trump was taken to a medical center, fact-checks revealed that the circulated video was from 2024 when Trump was discharged from a hospital in Pennsylvania after an incident.

The White House communications director, Steven Cheung, dismissed the claims and emphasized the President’s normal work schedule. Contrary to the rumors, a freelance journalist at Walter Reed reported no signs of heightened security or Presidential movements, with visual cues confirming Trump’s presence inside the West Wing. Misinformation surrounding Presidential activities has been a recurring issue, often necessitating swift official responses to counter false narratives.
