Ujjain Falcons have selected Chanchal Rathore as the captain and Madhav Tiwari as the vice-captain for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup starting on June 3. Rathore expressed his pride in leading the team, highlighting the squad’s blend of experience and young talent, aiming for a successful season ahead.
Madhav Tiwari, the appointed vice-captain, also shared his excitement for the tournament, emphasizing the team’s preparation and goal to deliver strong performances. Ujjain Falcons, a new entrant in the league, will kick off their campaign against Gwalior Cheetahs at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
The Madhya Pradesh League has expanded this season with the addition of three new men’s teams, including Ujjain Falcons, Malwa Stallions, and Royal Nimar Eagles, bringing the total men’s franchises to 10. The women’s competition has also grown, welcoming Gwalior Shernis and Royal Nimar Eagles, with matches set to begin on June 4.
