Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed that the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 has sparked enthusiasm among the youth, emphasizing the need to provide AI-enabled education to the new generation. The summit, held in the national Capital, focused on ‘AI in Education’ and ‘Education in AI,’ bridging traditional knowledge systems with modern technological advancements.
Pradhan stated that the event has rejuvenated the country’s youth, with active participation and excitement. He stressed that equipping the new generation with AI skills is crucial for India to advance globally. Additionally, Union Minister and Rashtriya Lok Dal National President Jayant Chaudhary highlighted AI’s transformative potential in the education sector.
Chaudhary emphasized the significant impact of AI on education and the importance of reimagining academic structures. He mentioned the assessment of AI’s influence on education by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Director of IIT Madras, V. Kamakoti, elaborated on the summit’s focus on enhancing learning outcomes through AI tools.
Kamakoti discussed the benefits of AI-driven educational tools in improving accessibility, personalization, and learning quality for students, parents, teachers, and policymakers. The summit aimed to leverage AI for transforming India’s education ecosystem, bringing together policymakers, academicians, and technology experts for insightful discussions.
