Verma emphasized the significant progress made in integrating Divyangjan into mainstream society under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. At the 30th edition of the Divya Kala Mela in Dehradun, Verma announced an allocation of Rs 375 crore in the current Budget for assistive devices, benefiting a large number of persons with disabilities. The event aims to connect Divyang entrepreneurs with markets, financial support, and employment opportunities.

Director of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Pradeep A., highlighted the comprehensive nature of the Mela, focusing on empowering Divyang entrepreneurs. The event features assistive device registrations, institutional awareness stalls, and employment fairs to further strengthen empowerment initiatives for Divyangjan. Uttarakhand Governor Lt.
