Union Minister for Food, Public Distribution, and Consumer Affairs, Pralhad Joshi, honored the late Shivakumar Swamiji during the 119th birth anniversary celebrations in Tumakuru. Joshi emphasized India’s stability amidst global turmoil, attributing it to the nation’s spiritual values. Recalling former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s words, Joshi praised the spiritual contributions of Shivakumar Swamiji, stating that spiritual leaders like him shape future generations. He also mentioned President Droupadi Murmu’s visit, underscoring the enduring spiritual influence of Swamiji.
Joshi lauded the Siddaganga Mutt for its role in providing free education, food, and moral values to thousands of children. He commended Shivakumar Swamiji’s dedication to serving the underprivileged, breaking barriers of caste and religion for social justice and equality.
Describing the mutt as a divine institution, Joshi highlighted Swamiji’s lifelong commitment to eradicating hunger and ensuring quality education for all. He praised Swamiji’s tireless efforts for societal welfare, emphasizing the ongoing legacy of his noble deeds.
