Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia responded promptly to a complaint from local youths during his visit to Ashoknagar district. The complaint involved encroachments on a playground, which he ensured were removed. Scindia was en route to a substation foundation stone laying ceremony in Dungarsara village when he was approached by the youths.
Upon hearing the complaint, Scindia engaged with the District Collector and Superintendent of Police to address the issue immediately. The encroachments were successfully cleared within two hours of his instructions. Later, upon his return, Scindia personally interacted with the youths playing in the now unobstructed playground and even joined them in a game of cricket.
During his visit to his Lok Sabha constituency Guna, Scindia participated in various events, including one for people with disabilities in Ashok Nagar. He emphasized the importance of service and empowerment, highlighting the commitment to assist over 8,000 differently-abled individuals across the constituency. Scindia also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to use the term ‘Divyang’ for differently-abled individuals, signaling a positive shift in societal attitudes.
