A video circulating on social media captured Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia addressing a government officer in Ashoknagar for mishandling public grievances during a public hearing event. Scindia, while attending the program, noticed that citizen applications were disorganized on the stage post the event. He promptly instructed the officer to properly arrange all the applications.
Expressing displeasure, Scindia rebuked Ashoknagar Collector Saket Malviya, emphasizing the significance of handling such public documents responsibly. He highlighted the importance of these applications, equating them to valuable assets that reflect people’s trust in the administration. Scindia stressed that any mishandling of these documents undermines public trust and governance.
Scindia has been actively participating in public hearings across his Guna parliamentary constituency, addressing citizen complaints and providing necessary guidance to officials. During his recent visit to Ashoknagar, he conducted public hearings at various locations, with plans to continue the initiative. The Public Relations Department of Scindia mentioned that the public hearing program, initiated last year, is now in its second phase.
