The film ‘Aakhri Sawal’ featuring Sanjay Dutt has confirmed its release date for May 15, 2026. Recently, the makers unveiled a new poster on social media announcing the much-awaited release. The movie also stars Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury, and Neetu Chandra.
Abhijeet Mohan Warang, a National Award-winning filmmaker, directs ‘Aakhri Sawal.’ Known for his work in Marathi and Hindi cinema, Abhijeet’s directorial debut was the 2021 Marathi drama ‘Picasso.’ He has a track record of delivering exceptional films like ‘Deja Vu,’ ‘Prem Pratha Dhumshan,’ ‘Piccolo,’ and the short film ‘Virtual Reality.’
The film ‘Aakhri Sawal’ aims to narrate the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, one of India’s oldest unified organizations founded in 1925 by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar. It promises to showcase a significant meeting that reshaped the future of Bharat, moving beyond traditional historical accounts. The movie delves into the organization’s ethos of selfless service to the nation, offering insights into lesser-known truths and mysteries surrounding it.
Presented by Nikhil Nanda and Dhanraj Nathwani, ‘Aakhri Sawal’ is produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt, with co-producers Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand.
