The transformation of KP College in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, into a Prime Minister’s College of Excellence has resulted in notable enhancements in academic quality, course offerings, and faculty strength, as acknowledged by students and college officials.
Students at the college have observed positive changes post the elevation to a PM’s College of Excellence. They have witnessed the introduction of new academic programs and a marked improvement in the overall educational experience.
The bolstered faculty numbers have significantly contributed to enriching classroom instruction and academic services, students emphasized. KP College Principal Dr. SPS Rana highlighted the institution’s rapid progress post-upgrade, emphasizing the focus on expanding infrastructure and academic options.
Dr. Rana mentioned a significant change with the reintroduction of the science faculty, reinstating B.Sc. courses at the college. Plans are underway to introduce additional professional and integrated courses, such as BA LL.B., B.Sc. B.Ed., and B.A. B.Ed., leveraging the increased faculty strength for academic advancement.
Students also lauded the introduction of value-added courses, citing their positive impact on skill development and employability. The overall college environment has seen improvements, noted Subhana Qureshi, a final-year BA student, emphasizing the benefits of the new initiatives.
Sanju Chauhan, another student, echoed similar sentiments, expressing that the changes have opened up better learning prospects for students.
