Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath commended the Union Budget 2026-27, calling it a blueprint for a new and developed India. He lauded the Finance Minister for presenting the first budget from the newly constructed Kartyava Bhavan. Adityanath expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his guidance and leadership in shaping the budget.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the budget reflects the aspirations of 145 crore Indians and outlines a vision for a modern India. Noteworthy allocations include over Rs 12 lakh crore for capital expenditure, focusing on infrastructure development and funding seven rail corridors. Emphasis has been placed on enhancing the AYUSH sector and healthcare services, with special attention to citizens and women.
Adityanath praised initiatives such as building girls’ hostels in every district, establishing STEM institutions, and providing top-notch infrastructure to empower the youth. He welcomed the budget’s reforms across various sectors, aiming to simplify lives and create opportunities for the public. The budget, according to him, will boost India’s economic growth and offer new prospects for youth, women, farmers, and entrepreneurs.
The Chief Minister appreciated the upcoming Income Tax Act, foreseeing a streamlined process for filing returns. He emphasized the significance of encouraging more individuals to pay taxes for nation-building. Adityanath underscored that the budget caters to all segments of society, envisioning India’s progress as a rapidly advancing economy.
