Under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s leadership, Uttarakhand’s “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar” initiative has become a symbol of good governance and efficient grievance redressal. This program has significantly improved administrative operations and bridged the gap between the government and the public.
The state government’s progress report on January 2 highlights the tangible results achieved through the initiative, moving beyond paperwork to address real public needs. Across all 13 districts, 204 public service camps were organized in a single day, with over 1,35,194 citizens actively participating.
During these camps, 17,747 complaints and applications were received, with 75% of cases resolved promptly through immediate action. The remaining grievances are being addressed under a time-bound plan to ensure comprehensive resolution. Additionally, the initiative has streamlined service delivery, particularly benefiting rural and remote residents.
The program’s success is attributed to the CM’s result-oriented directives, emphasizing officials’ field presence and resolving issues at the grassroots level. By prioritizing vulnerable groups and enhancing accountability, the governance system has become more responsive and citizen-centric.
