Praising Namibia’s tactical bowling, Chakravarthy commended skipper Gerhard Erasmus for his strategic approach that led to a career-best 4-20. He noted Namibia’s well-thought-out plans and execution, especially in the crucial overs.
Looking ahead to the match against Pakistan, Chakravarthy mentioned the possibility of flighting the ball more, considering the larger boundaries at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. He remains open to experimenting with new deliveries and tactics to enhance his bowling arsenal.
Regarding Abhishek Sharma’s availability after recovering from a stomach infection, Chakravarthy expressed optimism about Sharma’s return for the next match. While Sharma’s participation is subject to a final assessment during practice, Chakravarthy remains hopeful about his teammate’s comeback.
