Veteran filmmaker K.C. Bokadia reminisces about a time in Bollywood when stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Raaj Kumar would commit to films without hearing detailed scripts. Back in the day, actors like Bachchan and Kumar trusted filmmakers based on mere ideas and conviction. Bokadia shared how Bachchan agreed to work on his film despite the lack of a finalized script, solely relying on the filmmaker’s confidence.

Recalling his initial encounter with Amitabh Bachchan, Bokadia revealed that he had no director or subject in place when he approached the superstar. Despite this, Bachchan agreed to the project, eventually leading Bokadia to step into the director’s role. Bokadia also mentioned Raaj Kumar’s unwavering faith, as the legendary actor showed up for a film’s launch without even listening to the story.

Highlighting the dedication of actors in that era, Bokadia emphasized the industry’s culture of trust and commitment. This trust from actors like Bachchan and Kumar played a pivotal role in shaping Bokadia’s successful directorial career. His journey included directing hit films like “Aaj Ka Arjun” and collaborating with top stars such as Manoj Kumar, Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, and Ajay Devgn.
